Gender Equality Plan (GEP) at Eteronix GmbH
At Eteronix GmbH we are dedicated to fostering gender equality across all levels of our organization. Our strategic plan includes implementing gender-equal recruitment processes to ensure a diverse and balanced workforce, providing equal opportunities for career development and promotion through mentorship programs and leadership training.
We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace culture where everyone feels valued and supported, with continuous gender equality training for all employees to raise awareness and promote inclusivity. By ensuring diverse representation in decision-making roles and regularly evaluating our practices, we aim to build a fair and supportive environment. We believe these efforts will enhance our company’s performance, drive innovation, and create a more satisfying work environment for everyone.
United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
Our company particularly promotes women and other underrepresented social groups in Austria in science with connection to the SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities, SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth. Our employees actively participate in training events, workshops, high-rank international conferences with research and innovation presentations about sustainable practices (CO2 reduction [1], [2]) in Intelligent Trasportation Systems (ITS, Supply Chain, Logistics) and Industry 4.0 sectors. In 2022-2024 our activities in frames of Avantgarde I and II projects were co-supported by FFG Project Grant Agreement No. 899648, No. 911465.
